Read. Write. Inspire.
“You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think.”– Winnie-the-Pooh (A.A. MILNE)
Since I could hold a book, I have loved to read. The characters in children’s books became beloved friends. I took them everywhere — on car trips, to school, and even up my favorite tree. The books I read opened doors to new people, new experiences, and new worlds that became a part of who I am today.
They still do. Even as an adult, I enjoy escaping into a good story. As a journalist, I have discovered more stories of real, ordinary people who have accomplished amazing things — stories that are no less fascinating than what I found in books as a child.
Today, I write for adults and for children. Both are fascinating and challenge me in different ways. But one thing they both have in common is the power of a good story. Stories change our lives. They move us to be better people and inspire us to change the world around us.
Thank you for joining me on this writing journey and becoming a part of the story.
